We had Gene and Pete out yesterday for an afternoon Striper trip. First drift Pete put a nice one in the box fished for 2 hours caught all we wanted and raced back to the marina so the guys could have a drink at the outside bar at Bahrs Restaurant quick and successful trip. Remember Bahrs Restaurant will cook your catch right after it's been cleaned doesn't get anymore fresh than that! Atlantic Bait and Tackle supplied the live eels for the trip thanks Pete & Gene fun trip!

With the drop in water temperature around Sandy Hook the past few Fluke charters have been slow to say the least. With only a few keeper Fluke here and there and even fewer short fish to keep us busy, it's time to switch it up a bit we will be Striped Bass fishing along with bottom fishing and if conditions improve before Fluke season is over on Sept. 24th make a few drifts for Fluke. The good news is the Stripers have started to show up nicely and that will be our main focus!
